Pro-Lite Resession Series Surfboard Day Bags
Available in Shortboard, Longboard and Fish/Hybrid Styles
Our Resession Surfboard Day bag series is our most basic board cover offering for everyday use. These bags are designed for either shortboard, longboard or wider fish/hybrid style templates. With similar dimensions to our Session series bags, but slightly less padding and material, all styles are still packing 3mm of foam to give your board some protection if you like to play rough. Need a place for your stash? Throw it in the secret pull out “storage” pocket. Don’t worry about salted zips on this bag; all molded non-corrosive marine grade zippers will keep the movement smooth for the life of the bag. The Resession Bag is the perfect option to keep your board covered for daily surf trips to and from the beach if you don't like carrying too much extra baggage.
Molded Non-Corrosive Zippers
Our Resession Series surfboard day bags all feature molded non-corrosive marine grade zippers to extend their life and movement. The external material is semi reflective to help keep your board cool.
Top Zip Flip Top Opening With Rail Guard
All of the bags in our Resession series feature a rear entry top zip flop top opening, rail guard around the zipper to protect your board and an internal storage pocket for wax/keys/fins.
Padded Shoulder Strap
Each bag has a padded shoulder strap system to make carrying your board easy while keeping your hands free. A Velcro connection system also allows you to easily stow away the strap in an exterior pocket when not needed. A centrally located woven handle at the mid-point of the bag is also available for carrying.
Easy to use rear entry opening is featured on all Resession Series day bags.

…What a Long, Strange Trip it's Been
Pro-Lite was conceived in the minds of two traveling surfers, Bill Hapgood and Dave Neilson. At the time the pair was working for a major airline and traveling the world. Soon into their travels they realized one key missing ingredient necessary to continue their journey, the need to protect their surfboards.
In 1982 Pro-Lite was born. Bill and Dave searched out industrial sewers in Costa Mesa, CA and began making a limited line of surf travel bags. This put Pro-Lite on the map as the first bag manufacturer to make travel grade surfboard bags in the United States.
As the brands reputation as a quality travel bag manufacturer grew surfers from the United States and around the world looked to Pro-Lite to provide them with the gear to get their surfboards to their destination safely. Professional surfers from around the world used Pro-Lite travel bags as they bounced around the world on tour.
Throughout the 90's Pro-Lite expanded its product offering outside of travel to include a full line of bags for day use as well as leashes, traction pads and car racks. This put Pro-Lite in a position to be the go to brand for any products used to enhance your surfing experience.
The evolution of Pro-Lite continues today with new owners in place since 2005 and a renewed energy and vision to design and manufacture functional and durable surfing accessories. Our key focus is quality and innovation. Pro-Lite is first and foremost a travel company and will continue to make products that are designed for surf and travel.

The bag itself is light - the zips seems to be good quality, the storage pockets are useful. It would be great if they gave dimensions of the board that will fit rather than leaving it to your gut.....I wish this bag and my board fit each other!My board is a 6'3 22&7/8 fish. It doesn't fit. Measuring the bag, the 24 width is an EXTERNAL measurement; it does NOT mean the board can be 24 inches. My guess is that the bag will accept a board approx 20&1/2 inches or slimmer. Obviously the thickness of the board needs to be taken into account - hence I can ony give a guess.If your board will fit the bag, then go for it. It seems to be well made and was delivered quickly. I wouldn't even try with a 22 inch wide board.Good luck!
