very easy to use. not the most secure thing in the world, but good enough to lock a helmet to a bike. Setting the combination might be easier if you ask a friend to help. It's might be a two person process, but not too complicated.

I needed a lock for our electrical cabinet at our fountain and the Reset-201 was perfect for our application. The lock is very easy to change the combination and the 4" cable will fit through narrow spaces. For me, these locks are well made and will prevent someone from opening our box which they have attempted to do.If you need a lock to fit in tight spaces, this will probably work. I would recommend the Reset-201.

Used during 7 week train travel thru 5 countries. We were most concerned about the stories we had heard about Italy. Linked our two roller boards together by their handles making them very unwieldy if someone tries to move them. If available also looped through luggage rail.

The locks themselves look great. Setting the combination, however, must take two people. You have to keep a pen pushed into the bottom, hold down a lever, and reset your combo all at the same time. If you get even partially set and let go of the pen or lever, you have ruined the lock and cannot reset it. No returns in this situation.

These are pretty decent quality, but easily defeated. I would not use them for anything valuable as anybody who wanted to get one open could. But useful to keep the kids out and to keep honest people honest.

I felt that the lock was actually a pretty good value for the money however it's not the most robust design. You can grab the cable and actually pull it apart and it breaks the housing of the lock mechanism itself and opens the lock it would be more of a visual deterrent than an actual security item...

I bought this to secure my suitcase while traveling on Amtrak. You need to load the suitcase in their carry racks and I didn't like having my suitcase sitting there for multiple stops and I didn't want to keep my eye on it. So I bought this piece and it secured through the handle of the suitcase and it went around the bars that were holding it. It made the trip more relaxing as I didn't have to worry about my suitcase the whole time.
