I purchased this for my desk chair w/wheels as my home just had new carpeting put in and working from home requires numerous hours of my chair rolling around the bew carpetThe Pros:The mat is anchored very well with the pegs and I have not had a single instance of the mat moving. The mat feels thin and keeping the chair in a singular spot for an expanded amount of time makes me think that it is permanently damaged. But it actually reforms quite decently.Cleaning the mat is easy and can be done with a broom and a papertowel with some Windex or soap and water.Considering the majority of the mats I searched for were upwards of double or more the price of this one. I feel this is a great investment.The Cons:This size mat is not overly large, and desk chairs with wheels will need to mind the edges. If you move when you sit by large amounts, get a larger mat.The mat feels flimsy and keeping your chair in one spot creates a hell of a crevice to adjust out of. This is natural to all chair mats, but this one seemed a bit more susceptible.Verdict:I'm happy with this purchase and as long as you lift the mat and vacuum under it to help "fluff" the carpet, I have no major deal breakers for this product. It protects my carpet for office chair wheels. Thats what I needed.

Great if you have a carpet, however after a while of daily usage it can break and the parts can be very sharp. Good value for the money

I’m very impressed with this. I’ve never used one before, however, with everyone working at home during Covid, I set up a home office in my spare room. I bought the first one of these the black one in the photo December 2021. Just this last month it finally started cracking under where the chairs wheel are in pieces started coming off. Almost 3 years later, I’m very pleased. So I ordered a New one just like it. This time I opted for the clear one. I bought the black one the first time because all the furniture is black, but it’s such a small room. I thought the clear would work better. Very pleased with the quality, it lasted wonderfully, and the chair moves very easily on it. Very easy to put down easy to clean, the bottom has all these little sharp points to hold it steady on the rug. The clear one in the photo is only been out of the role for about five minutes so it still has yet to smooth out a little, but I know it will. I know it’ll last just as long as the black one. Fabulous Product for the price and quality! Very pleased

i regret not reading the reviews before buying this waste of carbon. the material is cheap PVC-esque plastic, not at all durable and feels brittle to the touch. it was delivered rolled up, which is fine, but trying to unroll this thing by myself in my living room almost killed me. it’s as if they molded the mat and then rolled it up while the plastic was still warm, which created a tightly wound spring. i managed to muscle one edge under my coffee table, used every ounce of strength to pry it open and put another table at the other end, hoping that it’ll soften up a bit now that it’s inside. that was last night, today midday it’s still barely staying open, like a god damn bear trap. one wrong move is going to snap me up and i’ll be stuck inside this thing.waste of money, to the point where it’s literally unsalvageable. i’m especially mad i can’t just get my money back for this hot garbage, i have to send this back and i can’t even get the money back on my credit card. it’s going on my amazon account. so this dumpster fire company is getting the product back to sell to someone else just so they can return it too. i genuinely don’t know how this is a sustainable business model, and it’s a waste of carbon emission shipping just literal waste around the country.

If you try to use this mat on carpet that isn't very low pile or has any kind of padding to it, you're not going to have a good time. It's made of very thin vinyl, which does make it easy to cut to shape if needed but it also makes it so the computer chair wheels leave indents in the material. The more cushy your carpet, the worse the indents get, making it more difficult to move around in your chair.That aside, the size of the mat is nice. It was shipped rolled up but simply laying it flat and weighing it down so it stayed that way for 24hrs was enough for it flatten on its own. There is no problem with it slipping on the carpet and it is also easy to clean. It does the job of protecting the carpet.For $80, I think it is a bit debatable on whether or not its worth the money. Considering the better quality mats compared to this one can run $180 or more, I think this is a decent cheaper solution if you're willing to overlook some minor cons.

At 1st out of the box the matts are a pain to roll out flat. Found that the easiest way is to use a couple of weights on the corners for 1/2hr does the trick and then over the next 24 hours gravity does the rest. So far so good, installed 9 and will follow up if any issues come up.

I've had a few of these, and this is the thinnest one yet. I fear it's too thin, since my weight in the chair indents the plastic so far the chair won't roll. The ones I've had before would stay flat so that the chair could move around on it's wheels.
