There are a lot of negative reviews and I see where those folks are coming from. But these shorts are absolutely perfect for what they are. They are super light, super comfy, super stretchy, super smooth. The material is not "fake." It's modal: a natural material that's much more breathable and softer than cotton. I have an average size 10 year old and she wears the 7-8 size just fine (like I said, they are stretchy). I just ordered the largest kid size for myself (a size 6 adult woman) and I'm pretty sure they will fit, though probably more like longish boycut underwear. Don't expect to wear these on the street. They are pretty see-through. But they are great for under skirts or dresses or just around the house. They are all my kids want to wear at bedtime and I don't blame them.

These are good for the price. They lasted 5 months with my 3 year old rotating the ten set pretty much daily and we are down one pair that got a hole in the crotch and completely fell apart. She exclusively wore these under dresses. They are way too thin to be worn as regular shorts- patterned underwear could definitely be seen through it. These shorts served the purpose I bought them for-to wear under dresses. There are also several colors to match her dresses and they are soft and stretchy.

I bought these for my four year old to wear under skirts and dresses and they are perfect! Very soft and comfortable. The sizing is accurate and color looks just like the picture. She only wears them under things, but I have noticed the cream colored ones are a little see through if you’re wearing a bright color underneath. It’s not a big deal since they are for under other things, but I would not have her wear the lighter colored ones on their own with nothing over them.

Love that they have so many color options! My 2 year old can easily pull them up and down by herself. Light weight and super soft. They are thin and slightly see through. But I’m fine with that as I use them for pj shorts or underdresses.

These are nice shorts for girls to have UNDERNEATH their skirts and dresses. But I wouldn't let my daughter wear it with just a shirt, because it is incredibly thin material. I can easily see undergarments through the material. The shorts are nice and stretchy, lightweight for hot weather, but I would not recommend it for biking or anything like that because it is so thin and I do not think it will be durable. I doubt it would last long, it probably does not provide much warmth due to how thin it is, all the shorts have tags in them that you have to rip out otherwise it will be itchy. I think while the material is soft and the size was perfect, the overall thinness is a major con. I only let my daughter wear these shorts under her skirts or dresses just to help provide more coverage and they are thin enough during hot weather (whereas with leggings she gets too hot). I suggest looking for thicker biking shorts if you are actually wanting your kid to be warm and their undergarments not show through.

These are very cute! They are VERY thin (but this isn't an issue for me as I hoped for that). But they are soft and bright and held up well after a wash. They're also very stretchy. I bought a size up and they looked small but they fit her well even now and I can tell they'll fit her when she does size up with how stretchy they are..seems like they will grow with her in the best way. Great value too!

My daughter loves these; they are her favorite, and if she had her way every piece of her clothing would either be made out of this or velour. I buy these frequently, because they are very thin, and my daughter is rough on clothes, so they kind of end up being disposable pants after a turn or two on the playground, but she will wear them, so I've learned to pick my battles. YMMV w/r/t how quickly they develop holes. Another reviewer mentioned sizing up to make them less see-through, and that is a good tip: sizing up makes them less form-fitting, and they are less see through if you size up. TL;DR - if your kid has sensory issues, but you want her to wear something under her skirts/dresses (besides whatever underwear you've managed to get her to wear), give these a try, she will probably like them.
