My kid runs through paper very quickly, usually the same paper we use for the printer, so I’m always on the lookout for inexpensive options. She enjoys using fingerpaints so I decided to request these pads. The paper feels nice and smooth, and the size is ideal for executing big ideas on the dining room floor. There is a slight gloss to it but I didn’t find it to be excessively so; there’s still a chance for the paints to absorb a little rather than being so glossy that it beads on the surface. The cardboard backing is thin and flexible so it won’t be a big help for the papers to hold their shape, but I do like that they’re bound together. I found it very easy to rip the sheets out.The paper rippled where the paint was applied, more visible in the areas where she was heavy handed with the paint. Not such a big concern when we’re talking about paper for kids to fingerpaint on. My daughter is sure to use other things on this so I tried using crayon, water-based marker, a ballpoint pen, pencil, and acrylic and it was really only the crayon that didn’t work so well, probably due to the coating.Overall this should be a good versatile set of paper for any kid’s creative pursuits, and should ensure I keep my printer paper around a little longer. The current price of $17 seems to be pretty standard for online products of this type, though it’s cheaper than what I can find at the local craft store so I will very likely come back to this one when we’ve run out.

My toddler loves to paint but I never had actual painting paper on hand. She only used printer paper but it wouldn’t hold up with the paint too well. These finger painting pads exceeded my expectations. They’re are great quality! They’re very thick and don’t warp when paint is applied to it. I like they they’re much longer than standard printer paper. You can also tear off the pages very easily. This is a great set to have if your child loves to paint. It brings 3 pads so it’s more than enough paper to have on hand.

My son loves to draw, and paint so this was great for him to have. he went through it pretty fast but it was still good to have around the house for him.

A lot of times paper gets soggy and rips easily, but I haven't had that issue with this. My kids have been using globs of paint sometimes and it's holding up nicely.

I do art for a living, so let me say at the outset that I'm not entirely sure what makes this "finger paint" paper particularly, but...I will say that it is perfect for loose, messy, unplanned art projects that we've been using to fill our summer days. It's big enough to paint with your arms rather than your wrists, and it gives you space to use medium sized brushes rather than detail ones. This is important because drawing is better accomplished with the arm rather than the wrist. It helps break them out of the "writing" posture and into a "drawing" posture. The best part for me, is that it's very inexpensive. It's better than copier paper, but not so expensive that I'm worried about them wasting a page or two...or ten.All in all, it's great to have this available for finger painting or whatever kind of painting your kids want to do. Just keep them painting!

I ordered these for my girls to be able to paint on. I am pleasantly surprised that the paper is very thick, and it is glossy so that it can be painted on without soaking thru the paper. It is also paper that can be colored on with crayons and colored pencils. The paper is smaller than the 8.5 x 11 size paper but for kids I think it is great for them to color and paint on.

This is like other finger paint pads that we've used, and a comparable value as well. Not much to say because it didn't stand out as better or worse. I guess one good thing for me is that they are easier to store than the giant pads. So, for me 3 smaller ones work out better than 2 big ones for the same price.

I thought this pad would deter my kids from taking my printer paper but no such luck. It is a little bigger and it is slick and shiny. The slickness seems to help with finger painting more smoothly. Finger paint does ‘warp’ the paper just like printer paper (due to moisture). Otherwise it is great for painting.
