It is simple , relatively inexpensive device that can save lives in rare instances of a fire post accident or submerging car in a flood. It’s inexpensive so practical to give to friends and loved ones to keep in their cars or on a key chain.

Bought these less than 2 months ago. My nephew just turned 16 and will be getting his driver license. I figured it would be a great gift for a new driver. I bought a package of 3 . I kept one for myself. I never expected to be in a position to have to use mine. But 3 nights ago, the lease road gave out underneath my loaded semi and rolled me into a beaver pond. Another driver was present and witnessed it. When you're hanging upside down in the seatbelt, the tension on the belt makes it impossible to release. The other driver climbed up on the side of my truck, got the driver door opened, and I handed him my Resqme escape tool. The razor sharp seatbelt cutter sliced right through the seat belt, freeing me. The window breaker did not work on the windshield, though. I guess that's because the windshield is a stronger, thicker glass than the side windows maybe? With help from the other driver, I was able to climb up and out the driver door, and then drop down onto solid ground. That's a ride I hope to never take again! Needless to say, I've already ordered more, and the driver who helped me was so impressed with this little escape tool that he is going to order one for himself!

Bought these for my entire family to hang from their rear view mirrors. It is small enough and releases easily when needed. I hope they never have to use it but will be there in time of need.

I like the extra security, that if a car accident were to occur, I can break the window if needed. There is also a seat belt cutter on the product.I wanted to test the product, but I didn’t have any glass to test it on. I watched a few videos on YouTube of people testing it on glass. I decided to try it on cardboard to ensure the spiky end comes out when pressure is applied—this worked. I found it easy to use. I liked that I could do a trial run on cardboard so I would have an idea of how it feels to use it.It is compact—not a space hog. I chose to keep it in the console so it couldn’t be thrown around in the event of an accident. The bright colours should make it easier to locate in the middle console. I bought a 3 pack, but there are other options, such as 1, 2, 6, 12, and even 25 packs. Lots of color choice.

In view of recent tragic accidents, decided to get one of these to keep in the car. Lightweight and easy to hold. Could be a cheap lifesaver. I've zip tied it to the gear stick so that it's easily accessible in an emergency. Not yet needed to use it (fortunately) but it looks simple and effective from the various videos I've viewed.
