For roughing and deburring metal, as well as creating a rustic effect with even annual ring transitions on timber. It can be used to raise the grain on soft woods, clean up timbers and maintain patina. It can also be used for light rust removal. I had about 5 layers of paint to strip off and refinish a 90 year old floor. Used the regular grit on a first pass and this nylon wheel on a second pass. Worked amazing for getting into the grooves of the grain and uneven places on the floor that the flat grit wheel could not reach.

this was much easier then the drill attachments i was using.. i only had 15 1x10x8s but this got the job done.. its pretty wore out though.. dont have much life left but it did a pretty good job

We have a reclaimed Barnwood store and use this brush daily. It's perfect to clean wood without changing the wood texture too much. Buy it!!

Using for Shou Sugi Ban to clear the charred wood off the boards.It does a good job cleaning the board, but wears out much faster than I'd like.Maybe I expect too much, but seems like it should do more than 15-20 pcs of 1x12-16'.
