This Retevis MB3 Portable CB Radio appears to have a good build quality, was relatively easy to set up, and is working great so far. It seems to have great range, and sounds nice and clear. I think this is a good, budget friendly option for a CB Radio, and I'm very happy with it.

I've been running CBs since the mid-2000s and grabbed this Retevis for my second vehicle. The noise suppression impresses - cuts through the typical truck rumble that drowns out cheaper units. I'm getting clean communication up to 4-5 miles on open highways with the stock antenna. The compact size means it doesn't hog dashboard space, while the build quality suggests it'll handle daily use. Hands-free VOX operation is responsive once you tweak the settings, making it ideal for solo drivers. The interface is straightforward - no menu diving needed for basic functions. Only downside I've found is the LCD washes out in bright sun, but that's expected in this price bracket. For anyone curious about CB or wanting a reliable backup radio, this Retevis punches above its weight class.

This is a very solid CB radio. It does just about everything you'd want it to do other than SSB, but that's a pretty specialized function in CB radios, still. Reception and transmission are both clear. The built-in speaker isn't great, but that's almost universally true with a speaker that isn't firing out towards the user.
