Great stool and seat that fits in my backpack. It's sturdy and helps me with lots of different tasks. Most importantly it's on hand for when I need to take a break and have a seat. Having it so easily available allows me to go to places like Six Flags and the State Fair with my kids. Great purchase.

I needed a stool to take with me using my lighter rollator that has no seat. Being disabled, I am unable to stand comfortably more than a few minutes at a time and needed a seat that was portable and not to cumbersome, just in case I was somewhere that didn't offer seating. This seat is rated at over 900 lbs. So it should be plenty sturdy for my big rear. And it seems to be. I was hesitant about sitting on it the first couple of times, it looks kind of small, but it held my weight just fine and wasn't wobbly one bit. It is plenty high, compared to my gravity chair that I use all the time, it is about the same height. The only issue with this seat, it is kind of hard for me to open it up. I have some arthritis in my hands but can still open jars and such, but I had a heck of a time turning this thing and getting it to open. I almost gave up. I don't know if anyone with really weak hands would be able to open it. Other than that I can find no real faults. It is inexpensive, sturdy and very portable. I'll be able to put it in the basket on my rollator or carry it by the attached strap on my shoulder like a purse. Very convenient, I won't hesitate about going in a store and worry about being able to sit every once in a while as I shop.

I have a lot of trouble opening and closing this, mostly because of the sharp plastic molding sprue in the finger holes. It has to be pulled pretty hard to open and even harder to dislodge the locking pegs before collapsing it, plus mine gets stuck as pictured. I was worried that turning while sitting on this could collapse it, luckily it couldn't contract while there was pressure on it. The “non-slip mats†are only molded into the plastic, so they don't help on hard surfaces like rubberized material would. That could let this slip out from under someone as they go to sit down on it. At 10 inches diameter, it's also narrower than might be comfortable, but that makes it easier to store than a bigger stool. It's also fairly tall at 17 inches maximum and able to be adjusted to several shorter heights to be a footstool for example. After using this for a while, my biggest complaint is needing to wear gloves to adjust the height. It works well and could be even better if one used a plastic welder, round sander, or some cushioning tape to fix the two sharp edges in each adjusting hole.
