Pull Telescope to Be Longest
Pull the telescope all the way out, to the longest status(IMPORTANT!!!). Otherwise you can not get the clear sight from the spyglass.
Adjust Objective Lens
Point the objective lens to the object(at least 10m away) and get a vague sight. Do not worry, do next!
Adjust Eyepiece
Rotate the eyepiece bit by bit to focus till you can see the object clearly.

I purchased this as a gift for a friends kid and their playhouse, but didn’t expect such high-quality and functional usage. It really is a high-performing monocular that lets you see far distances quite well. It has a great engineered old school pirate look, but also very accessible and easy to use for any child of age. I love that it included a caring case and it feels very sturdy and durable. Great value for the money and really fun play tool for outdoors.

Thinking this was a toy—because that’s how Amazon marketed it—I bought this for my daughter so she could pretend to be a pirate. Well...it’s not a toy. It’s an actual, functional telescope. The lenses are glass, the case is metal, and has adjustable focus. I’ve had to keep reminding my daughter NOT to touch the lenses, and NOT to knock it against things. It was only $17 when I bought it. Now it’s $3 more. My daughter is only 4 so she’s still learning how to hold it to look at things. It’s very light weight so if you’re not experienced with using handheld spyglasses or you don’t have steady hands, you’ll struggle. The image is clear but it’s not as crisp as more high end glasses. It works for lots of things but if you’re wanting crisp detail, e.g. birdwatching, you’ll want to spend a little more money and get a better spyglass. Overall, we like it and I’m glad we got it so that I can teach my daughter about using it, but I think the price is too high.P.S. We did not get a compass with ours.

This is my first review, out of $1000s spent on Amazon, and darnit... it's negative. This item, while attractive in appearance and packaging, would be worth the very affordable price but the item I received will not focus. Hence to me it's a waste of money and gets 1 star.

This telescope is really cool. Not only does it retract, it also can re focus depending on the distance. The size and weight feels really good and actually has some weight to it.

J'ai mis un peu de temps avant de comprendre comment bien ajuster l'image. Et finalement ça marche très bien et c'est un très bel objet . Mon fils l'utilise beaucoup pour jouer au pirate.

Sia ben chiaro non è un binocolo o monocolo moderno, lo zoom è buono, la visione abbastanza nitida ma non vi metterete a fare bird watching. Si tratta di un oggetto funzionante e funzionale ma che colpisce la fantasia soprattutto.Il cannocchiale arriva in una comoda custodia e appena aperto mi ha colpito subito per il bel materiale similpelle ed il senso di robustezza che dà tenendolo in mano grazie alle parti metalliche. È così elegante che anche mia moglie non ha avuto da ridire, PERBACCO! Starà benissimo esposto, appoggiato magari ad una vecchia mappa o una bussola vintage, nell'attesa di esser preso ed usato con il mio piccolo mozzo (alla giusta età ) in tante avventure. Promosso.
