This is a great idea but... my phone came with a caseing that won't come off. I finally got it into the back slot and it works great. Only problem was it was too hard to get my phone back out and I cut my finger trying to do just that. It says this is upgraded, well they need to upgrade it again and make the phone slot open wider.

This is a fun little retro gadget, a plastic box made to look like an old fashioned television. The back accordions out to make a chamber to hold your phone and a fresnel lens magnifies your phone’s screen so it looks much bigger. I’ve got the best possible viewing setup - an iPhone 15 pro Max with a large and very bright screen, and I wouldn’t consider using this in anything but a dim or dark room. And to access your phone’s controls you really need to remove the phone, so it’s not good for browsing short videos. This device is fine if you have a retro itch you need to scratch or want a gag gift, but people interested in watching videos on a device would be better off buying a used tablet.

It work for viewing. Great to see it in large.Where you slide phone the back in the hole, need to fit cell phone that has protection case. Plus more room all the way around. It's great viewing to watch a movie.

It’s a neat concept but unfortunately it doesn’t work great for my needs. I put my iPhone in there and yes it does magnify it but it’s just like using a magnifying glass in front of it and if you look at different angles it doesn’t stay clear. Least mine doesn’t. Also the way it looks in the tv box it makes your phone look farther away from you even though it does make screen bigger. Go figure. It does some things ok but def not my favorite thing

I like this item, great gift idea for just about anyone, I mean who doesn't have and use their cellphone for watching videos?Just over $30 which is peanuts these days.Well made, and very easy to use with your phone, love the retro TV look, which doesn't do anything functional but adds to the whole look. Great conversation starter. No installation as such, just unfold and drop your phone in the back. The screen is slightly magnified so actually looks pretty impressive. For those old enough, it reminds me of the portable handheld TV's you could buy years ago, which were pretty expensive. Overall I rated it 4 stars, as a cool and unusual gift idea for just about anyone.
