A couple years ago, an English friend gifted me some lightweight mesh produce bags from Selfridge's in London. Lightweight, washable, and reusable, they really worked, plus are handy to keep produce in at home! When fruit flies are pests in the summer, put your tomatoes in them. I find this really helps--because good ripe tomatoes don't belong in the frig. Anyway, I ordered a supply of Utilifox bags since I have become such a fan of these kind of bags (which can be used in multiple ways). They arrived, responsibly packaged in lightweight recyclable cardboard, with a thank you card, and tips on their use. It's great to support small business doing good in this world! I love the bags: they are every bit as nice as the ones from Selfridge's, and I didn't have to go to England to stock up. The quality is great!

We have been using these bags for a few months now. We had to order them again because our kids liked them so much they took them home. They are sturdy and easy to wash. I like the simple color tag sewn onto each bag. The draw sting is easy to use in order to close the bag without having to knot them.

We use these for grocery shopping -- primarily for fruits and vegetables. They are fantastic! Strong, very light and wash easily and completely clean. Very simple and effective way to reduce your use of plastics -- eliminates terrible plastic bags for groceries. Extremely happy with this product.

I appreciate the bags are a nice size and able to hold heavy items. I was concerned about kale getting stuck in the mesh but that didn't happen. They are easy to clean and environmentally friendly which lowers my carbon footprint by not using plastic bags. Love these!

Nicely mad bag, but the grocer can't scan through the mesh. I found other uses for them.

I bought these for a friend (after she saw mine) and I can attest to how wonderful this product is...I just wish I had had these during the worst of the pandemic. With these, no more using that annoying, thin, plastic produce roll they provide at markets (impossible to open, tear consistently and your sweet potatoes or onions roll around your cart. Really GREAT for Farmers Mkt. and a couple or three fit nicely in your handbag or pocket. Can't say enough about these eco-friendly bags. I don't know about you, but anytime I have to use plastic (single use or cling film) I feel more and more guilty about what we are doing to our planet. BUY these and use them with pride. Needs to be on everyone's gift lists no matter what you are celebrating.
