1. How tight is the Half Facepiece
The Half Facepiece body is made of natural soft colloid, which is specially designed for the face shape and the bridge of the nose. It fits perfectly with the face and has a good sealing effect; with an adjustable headband, the tightness of the half facepiece can be adjusted to strengthen the sealing effect.
2.When to change the 5n11 filter/ 6001 filter box?
It depends on the chemicals and/or particles you breathe.If the filter is dirty or wet or you feel increased breathing resistance, replace the filter immediately
3.Is this half facepiece suitable for brake dust and gasoline?
Not only suitable for brake dust and gasoline,but also suitable for pollution, ash,grinding, organic vapor/gas, dust and other particles in the air

I’m an Automotive service technician by trade. I am exposed to many different toxic chemicals every single day of my life. I can now empty an entire can of brake cleaner and not pass out from the toxic fumes. Wearing this mask increases my efficiency and output because I’m able to continue working on the task even after cleaning the component with chemicals; rather than having to wait for the toxic fumes to dissipate.

I use this for dust abatement, when I sand and cut wood. I have been using it under my face shield when wood turning lately. I used to manage a paint shop for painting Air Force Cargo Aircraft: C-141. All my troops and I were respiratory qualified on full and half face respirators. This one has a good fit on my face, the face seal is very good. I have worn it for several hours with out fatigue. It does have an easy draw on the air, as long as the filter is clean. No more blowing my nose and finding saw dust in the tissue. Not for use with VOCs, unless you get appropriate filters.

Mask was overall well made for the price. Used it to paint automotive Acrylic Enamel on a car frame. Painting outside it was okay however, it was not adequate for use in the shop. I could smell the fumes..
