Just bought these for the beginning of another remodel. I have been using the zip-wall brand for years and paying $27 for a pair of zippers each run.First off, I absolutely love the feel of these compared to the others. Spent a few dollars more for the initial but definitely see the value, the adhesive performance so far is fantastic.The zipper is thicker and feels substantial, not feeling like it's going to just fall off or apart.Have to give kudos to whoever designed these, the little piece of velcro that keeps them rolled was great. The little storage bag will probably get used since these actually feel nice enough to keep and they give you an extra roll of velcro so you can use them again. On that note they will already save me money as soon as I use them on the next job.As far as overall performance goes, if they aren't as fantastic as they seem, I will post an update.Also, using these on 6mil poly vinyl sheeting and they seem to stick well.

The glue melted in the heat of the California desert and I had to resort to staples and safety pins to keep it attached to greenhouse plastic outside.Had to change the greenhouse completely to plastic paneling instead.It was a bit difficult to work with to sticker, but the zipper was great quality for sure.I think it came with 2 but I only needed 1 for a short while.

Putting up a temporary barrier during the remodel really kept the dust down. This product is great because you can reuse it. Each time I would get the competitor, thinking I would not need it again, the whole thing was thrown away. Now I have a spare or a way of more inexpensively getting a replacement that can provide the same solution.

RE-U-ZIP® Heavy-Duty Reusable Dust Barrier Zipper. The zipper works great. However, when you want to use it, it can be awkward to open. Like a camping tent you have to get down at the very bottom and pull. It is a zipper. Would be much easier to just push through with a magnet opening automatically. Because it was like a tent and you have to bend over and line up the ends so it does not bind I did not use it much. For the whole project that lasted 3 weeks plus, I used the zipper maybe 5 times. Had it been the self-closing magnet kind, I would have probably used it every day, multiple times a day. Maybe the zipper would be more appropriate in a windy area where the barrier is being pushed. But for my project it was not effective. I am just a diy’er.

Fantastic product that aims to simplify dust barrier setups for renovations/isolations of specific rooms. The replaceable attachment strip helps to eliminate waste when compared to other zipper brands where you have to dispose of the entire zipper strip after the job is done.Product was used to seal off various rooms during demolition of asbestos and mold containing materials, along with ventilation and sealing tape of seams in order to prevent dust/asbestos filled air from migrating into other rooms.It performed as expected and kept all unwanted dust/debris out of the surrounding areas and allowed us to make quick work of the asbestos/molded material removal.

The idea is great however only one Size, and does not stick very well if the surface is damp ie tried to use it on garden Cloch.

Used this to close off my shop during some heavy sanding of wood furniture and this worked very well. You can use the zipper part may times over with additional kits. I ended up making a re-useable one from a light plastic tarp that I can Velcro over the shop doorway to install any time there is a chance of a lot of dust getting in to the rest of the house.
