Works like any other roller. But when you try to use an extension the plastic is a bit light and handle snaps under stress.

This inexpensive roller frame was purchased for use of wetting out larger areas for fiberglassing. Easy to clean & cheap enough to replace when that day comes. Happy purchaser here

I purchased this for a messy job that I did not intend on saving any of the equipment from as cleanup would be a nightmare. I needed a roller frame that I could attach a long handle to and roll on sealant. This did that...for about 5 minutes. Because there is no metal ferrule at the end of the handle where an extension pole would be, that broke out pretty easily. When I switched to just using the plastic handle, the metal rod that holds the roller brush broke out of the handle, leaving me in a bad situation. Clearly, I asked too much of it. But unless you plan on using it with lightweight pressure, it is not going to hold up.

Picked up 2 of these as the are very affordable, to paint a small home. Used 1 for about an hour before the handle snapped in half. I had it attached to an extension pole so there was more leverage being applied than would have been just using my hand but I've never snapped a paint roller previously so I was a tad shocked and disappointed when this one snapped. The handles on these aren't as strong as others Ive owned so probably not a good investment for someone who does a lot of painting. But for a small project this brand will likely do the job however you may want to buy 2 just in case.

The roller rolled, which is what you'd expect. The threaded hole in the handle also screwed tightly onto the extender pole we have, and didn't slip loose when painting.

This broke before I even used it. Poor quality, the handle broke off when I attached it to a broom handle.
