This apex essentials works really well and the water pressure is really good. It is good for 3 months on each water filter. I think this product is great for the cost for a 3 pack. The ease of replacement is definitely recommended!

Out of the other brands I've tried, this one has the best flow rate. I prefer using sink filters over purchasing large gallons of drinking water at the store. Leaves less packaging to deal with as well. Also I hate the way tap water tastes. I use my filter to fill a 2.5gallon container in my fridge (I like my water ice cold) and for my cat's water bowl (technically it's more of a cube, but I digress) as I only want the best, crispest water for them.

So, these will save you some money over the brand name, and the water I get tastes just as good. They don't filter out any dissolved solids, but that's okay most the time to keep in wanted minerals for tea, coffee, or even bread dough.I'm taking one mark off simply because they filter much slower than others I've had. I don't think that means they're doing more filtration, but maybe some problems in the construction internally.

I ordered these water filter replacements and they are individually packaged in silver mylar just like the name brand ones. The cost is reasonable so I can feel ok about changing my filter when needed and not stretching it out. Between cooking and drinking, I use about a gallon a day of filtered water. I change my filter every 3 months on the 1st of the month, even though I could go 10 days past that, into the next month its just easier to remember this way. Using these filters, I don't break the bank doing it!I got the faucet filter kit last year when my local store's water machine went on the fritz. The next closest store with a water machine was a bit of a drive, and sometimes their water tastes like the filter needs changing...I can taste chlorine. So now, I'm in control of my water filtration and buying these filters makes it so easy, and I like knowing that I have extra filters in reserve.Does what it says it will and at a reasonable price, highly recommended!

These filters look and fit just like the OEM filters but these don't filter much of anything. First of all, the water shoots out of them so fast and hard as soon as I turn the knob that it's clear the water is completely unrestricted by any filter material inside the cartridge. The stream is so strong I cannot turn my water on half way without the water ricocheting off the bottom of my sink and spraying me, the walls and anything within a few feet of my sink.In addition, I can see a lot of mineral buildup in my cat's water fountain from the water I fill from the filtered spigot. I change my cat's water every day, so old water is not the cause of this residue. Unfiltered water that has been run through these filters is what's ruining my cat's fountain and pump, not to mention depositing mineral buildup in my ice cube trays as well.I guess I'll have to pay full price for OEM filters because these are not a bargain when they don't effectively filter anything.

I got this to use with a PUR faucet filter in my bathroom sink. Always nice to have filtered water to drink that closer to my desk.ProsGood flow. Water has a better taste.ConsNone so farNitpicksOne noticeable difference from the OEM PUR filters is that after the initial install and priming, the water doesn't have that gel-slick feeling. This tends to go away after a few gallons, but it makes me wonder if this is some indication that the OEM PUR filters are working vs these 3rd party ones.Overall, not bad as compared to other 3rd party filters I've used. It's been a couple of weeks and the water through this filter still tastes better than straight from the tap. But if you look at it from a pricing perspective, is it worth the extra buck or two savings vs the OEM filters? I think I'm going to go back to the OEM filters.
