I ordered these after trying the cheaper kind bought on Amazon. These worked great. They clip and hold the strip and splicing two strips together was so easy. I highly recommend them and if you listen to me you will save some time and frustration.

Pro tip, for the led strip connection side, make sure the spikes go in from the led side, not from the bottom/tape side. That way the copper pushes up and around the spike making a good connection.Minus one star for them not making this clear.

I needed 10mm not 8mm, so check before you buy! Didn't work for me, but that's my fault

The picture says it all. I've spent hours trying to get these to make a good connection and they just won't work. I even went as far as to strip a bit of the wiring to see if that would work and it didn't. I used wiring to connect the different levels of the shelves. I've used the same wiring on other locations in my home and they worked great but no matter what I did I couldn't get these connectors to make a good connection with all the wiring. They've got great reviews but I just couldn't get them to work. And for reference, I spent 12 years in the electrical field so I'm not some part time do it yourselfer.

Make sure you order the right ones research this was my second buy of three first ones not enough pins second ones too big third ones four pins 8 mm hopefully they’re the right ones built. Good packaging overnight delivery can’t complain.
