The unit is larger than some, but not as heavy as most. The installation was fairly straight forward. No problems with the equipment. Once all the plumbing was complete we plugged it in and only had to adjust the temp up 5 degrees. Its running great and has had no issues. The delivery crew were very helpful and polite. They set the unit nicely in the end of my garage as requested. Refreshing to have nice people deliver to your home with a smile.

Performs exactly as described. Our bedroom shares a wall with the garage where the water heater is installed so was concerned about noise but have not heard a thing. Kitchen is 50+ feet away and the water there heats up faster than the tank heater it replaced. I am thinking some of the other concerns that were posted may be due to poor installation? Not sure but very, very happy with this unit.

Unit kept going down with codes, and the customer /technical support is horrible . They believe it is always an issue outside of their unit even though the test they have me run prove that the install isn't the problem. Had 2 different of the same unit for 9 months which the y only worked for 5 months

The unit is very nice and slim. Does not take up very much space by itself, however after running all the lines and filter it does take up quite a bit of space. Almost as much as my traditional water heater. You need to know that this thing is loud and makes a loud clicking every time water is turned on or off.The noise and time it takes to heat up will take some getting use to. Other than that it does work.

I bought this unit to replace a propane fired unit that was the same except for the fuel. The propane unit was great and I had it for 8 years before we switched to natural gas. I expect this one will perform just as well as the propane unit. I gave that unit to my HVAC contractor and he is going to use it himself. I expect it will last him for a long time. (By the way, I am a retired OB/GYN doc and he is one of my babies.)

Update been installed for a couple of months still like it the but igniter element has needed to be replaced twice . tried to register for warranty serial number cannot be found in there system there no help. codes 11 popped up right after install was able to reset and run about a month later came back and had to replace the igniter element. And then just yesterday had to replace it again trew code 12 this time working great again. Just a pain in the assSwitch from electric water heater electric bill went down 50 a month and gas bill olny went up a few dollars so i am very pleased. Water temperature is great fairly easy to install. Very quiet barely makes any noise. And takes up so much less space definitely happy I upgraded.
