It was a surprise purchase. I have no clue how it worked, but it worked instead of water. My electrician water heater expert told me to buy. I accidentally bought this and it ended up being exactly what water heater needed so keep that in mind you never know what may come your way, I don’t know what this is but it worked

I ordered it as a backup. Temp only goes to 140° or so. Set accordingly. You should be able to tell from the markings on the front of the unit.
