This is larger than the pins that I usually wear. But as far as inexpensive holiday costume jewelry goes, it’s a superior piece. The depth of the color is surprising. Very solid and substantial. Bought it planning to wear on my coat for the St. Paddy’s holiday, so it needed to stand out anyway. I also didn’t want something I’d become too attached to, since I often lose them. The clasp design is very secure, so this might not even happen. It is closer to actual vintage costume jewelry than I expected. If these are your expectations too, you’ll be satisfied.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shamrock brooch. For the price, it’s a great size, decently made and the sparkle is unreal! I can’t wait to wear this the month of March.
