Great whistle for toddlers. The string is long enough for them to put on their neck on their own.

I was pleasantly surprised with these whistles! They are loud, in fun colors, and seem to be holding up to normal use. However, when they arrived, one if the whistles was broken (the side was completely off). Also, some of the strings weren't knotted well, but that was an easy fix. So as long as you don't actually need twelve, these are a good, cheap option.

Know what I loved best about these very loud and well made whistles? Lets just say my eldest daughter has 6 kids and my youngest daughter has two. Meema and Beepa just love sending fun little things home with them to play with. From the angry and annoyed feedback we got back from our daughters, these whistles worked brilliantly. Will be buying more for their Easter baskets.

Some unfinished plastic edging. Red had noticably darker plastic or oil mixed into the plastic in a few spots to look dirty. Other color also had small amount darker looks dirty. Whistles have a little ball inside, produce decent sound for a kid. Keyrings connecting cord to whistle is a nice touch. Pink cord was already unraveling in the middle right out of the package. I untangled cords in a few minutes and wound their cord around them individually. Put with beach ball and candy, great inexpensive party favors for birthday celebration at a water park.

I purchased these for fun party favors for a football party. The colors are more vibrant in person than they appear in the photos. I tried one of the whistles and it was plenty loud. The cords are long enough for an adult to wear the whistle, but the knots aren't tied very well. I accidentally untied one just getting it out of the package. I don't know how durable the whistles are, but they should last for a 4-hour football game and provide some fun. For 50 cents each, they are worth the price.

Wanted these for use by the mentally handicapped adults that live with us. They don't know how to use a cell phone when they are out wandering in the neighbourhood but they can blow a whistle if in danger. They also like the colours.
