After completing the 1st thorough rinse and the necessary 24 hour soak followed by another thorough rinse (like you should), this LECA is perfect for all of my plant babies that I'm converting from soil to water/LECA.Note: the plastic bag in the box isn't secured shut so be careful when removing it from the box.

I had never heard of leca balls and a stranger at the store where I bought a planter for Amaryllis bulbs recommended them. Normally I would break up a clay pot or use stones in the planter bottom before adding soil, but these are so clean and easy. Clay pots are too expensive to break, these days. I planted 3 bulbs in deep 10" planters and still have enough clay balls for another. This brand was a good price and I'll order again.

Schon beim schütten, selbst bei ganz laaangsamen schütten, sieht man wie der Staub hochgewirbelt wird. Dabei sollen sie doch laut Hersteller sooooo viel weniger staub abwerfen. Anscheinend ja nicht. Farblich ist der Blähton eher grau bis schwarz. Auch das entspricht nicht der Beschreibung bzw. dem Produktbild.Aber Blähton ist nunmal Blähton und für meine Zwecke ausreichend.
