After having the Rick's stator installed for 2.5 years it decided not to work anymore and has grounded out in the stator case meaning it has crapped the bed. I'm not very happy with how long it lasted on my Daytona and I will be repairing the problem that should have never happened in the first place. Trash. Maybe I got one that was missed on the QC. So I will be replacing this once again. You only get a one year warranty on this part so weigh your options before you make the decision to buy this.

Bought this stator for my bike after finding out the OEM replacement part would cost me anywhere from $4-6 hundred. The motorcycle mechanic acted skeptical when I told him I bought a "Rick's Stator" but I think he may have had really bad luck with "Ricky Stator" in the past. I haven't ridden very long on it, but it's working great as of now. I will update my review if it fries out before much use. I finally don't have to worry about ride distance because of a burnt up stator and I'm very happy about that.

Plug and play! I thought I was going to have to cut and splice wires to get this to fit my 2006 Triumph 675 but I was extremely excited to find out that it came with all of the correct sized/shaped connectors for the 675 which saved me a bunch of time on the install. Bike has been running great ever since (I also installed a battery meter indicator, so I can tell if the charging system fails again in the future and don't get stuck in the middle of nowhere again. Highly recommended). Great price. Easy install. No complaints.

Still trying to get this replaced through the bogus smartguard protection plan we purchased. Every time we call, it is always a different excuse or call back next week.
