This is the second one I have purchased. The first one is 5 years old and has not faded whatsoever. These are extremely durable and well made, and the paint is high quality.

The frame was sturdy and the lettering was easy to read and contrasted well. I gave it as a gift; it was well received and placed on the car quickly. The mounting holes were well placed.

Mine was getting quite worn, paint was wearing off. Bottom clips had broke. I was very happy to find this to replace it with.Better than I expected it to be.

i wanted an all-metal frame with embossed / painted letters, but in this day and age this is the best i could find.i bought this frame 11mos ago and i'm back for another for a new car.QUALITY:** metal frame: this is a lightweight metal frame, sturdy enough but not like the more substantial frames they used to make in the 80s and 90s. i'd prefer a little heavier, but this is comparable to most of what you find on the market today.** plastic insert: fairly brightly colored see-thru acrylic. a little more day-glo than i'd like, but not gaudy. unlike the other reviewer, i've had absolutely NO problems with durability, loose letters, fading, breaking, etc. i live in a warm, humid climate and the car is parked outdoors in hawaii 365d/yr. there are some small splinter cracks along the edged of the plastic pieces, but no chips or missing shards. this is the type of cracking you'd expect if you cut hard plastic with a slightly dull blade. you can't see these millimeter-sized cracks unless you get right up next to the frame.PROS: nice appearance, sturdy, durableCONS: some plastic parts

I have this frame on my car and it looks great after 2 years but bought a cheaper one for my husband. It faded and didn’t last so I bought this for him. I really love it.
