You’ll probably never need to splice a cable in your life. But if you do, this is the way to learn.I was fortunate enough to have been taught this splice by another rigger but, as I hadn’t used the knowledge, I was rusty. Jamie’s clear instructions brought it all back. A must for any riggers reference library.

A very clear guide to eye splicing, thanks very much for taking the time to do it. I have just bought a 120 yr old sailing vessel with wire running and standing rigging, set up with deadeyes but the wire eyes are made with clips, hopefully I can learn to make Liverpool eye splices instead..
