I’m very pleased with this recipe Can. It’s a nice size and fits easily on my kitchen counter. The metal is extremely sturdy. Not flimsy like some tin boxes can be. The metal is thick. The lid fits on tightly. Feels extremely well made and sturdy when in your hand. Love the olive gold interior. Love the retro look and feel of the outside As well.It came with a package of recipe cards and dividers. I went ahead and bought several more packages of cuter recipe cards. The one’s come with it are practical but not very cute aesthetically. I agree it is on the pricier level for a metal recipe box. I do feel that it’s very well-made and the Lid fits tight. Meaning you can throw it in the car and bring it somewhere with you if you want it without worry I’ll be recipes getting lost we’re falling out.The only thing I caution you about is the little cardboard slip of paper that slides into the front casing. That says the word “recipeâ€. the paper can slip out easily and get lost. I was able to remedy this with a little piece of two-sided tape on the back so now it stays in the slot nicely

This is a modern-vintage recipe tin. It's great quality and looks like something that could have come out of your grandmother kitchen. The recipe label on the outside is metal with gold finish that's riveted in place, and the paper recipe label is removable. The box itself measures approximately 6 inches long by 4 inches wide by 4.75 inches tall. The inside is a is the same gold finish as the along the outside lid and bottom rims. It comes with 12 recipe dividers and 24 recipe cards. They measure 6 inches long by 4 inches tall on thick, high quality card stock. The recipe dividers include the following: Appetizers, Breakfasts, Entrees, Desserts, Soups, Meats, Breads and Pastas, Sauces, Eggs, Seafood, Beverages, and Miscellaneous. There is plenty of room in the recipe tin to hold all of your recipes, and additional recipe cards can be bought as you grow your recipe collection. The recipe cards have room for the recipe name and ingredients on the front and instructions on the back.The pictures attached show the size of the recipe tin on my kitchen counter and a recipe card. I'd had this on my wish list for months, thinking it was too expensive for a simple recipe tin, but finally splurged and ordered it. I was so excited to open it and look forward to slowly growing a collection of solid recipes that I can always rely on. I plan on keeping this on my kitchen counter for years to come.

I received this as a birthday present from my husband and I absolutely adore it. My mom had a metal recipe box when I was growing up, so having my own brings back fond memories. I cannot wait to fill it up with yummy recipes that I can pull from for years to come.The quality of this box is not to be underestimated. It showed up way more beautiful and sturdy than I imagined (and is reflected in pictures). It is something that you can have on your countertop with pride. It does not come with very many recipe cards but you can get additional cards from a multitude of places (Amazon, Rifle, Paper Source, Etsy, etc.).

This is the most precious recipe box! It has a real vintage flare to it; perfect for storing family recipes handed down for generations. I bought 2 for gifts and will purchase 2 more for other family members. It's larger than I expected, which is a plus, and comes with recipe cards inside, which I also didn't expect. What a pleasant surprise, and a real quality metal box for storing all our treasures!

I love this recipe box so much! I had a hard time hitting "check out" because the price was more than I wanted to spend. But turns out it was worth every penny. I've had it for about 6 months now and still love using it, in an attempt to be more minimal we spent a year working our way through all of our cook books, flagged the keepers and transfered them to recipe cards in this box. Such a good decision for us!I'm glad I bought this box over the knock off I was looking at, it is so cute sitting on the little shelf in our kitchen.

I had been pining after this recipe box for years and finally purchased it when I saw it on amazon with prime shipping. For those unfamiliar with Rifle Paper Co products, you're in for a real treat! The box is as gorgeous as pictured. The recipe cards are well-organized and leave adequate space for instructions and ingredients- which is usually a complaint of mine with recipe cards. My only complaint thus far is that the dividers don't include the categories "salads" or "sides" (the categories included are appetizers, breakfast, entrees, desserts, soups, sauces, meats, eggs, breads + pastas, beverages, and miscellaneous.) I wish that there were a couple of blank dividers provided so that you could simply make your own!Even so, this is a lovely product and helped me organize all of the favorite recipes I've collected from Pinterest/ family/ cookbooks so that I'm not constantly having to scramble to find them!

This is so cute. I had my eye on it for years and it is exactly as I imagined. It is not super thick, but it isn't as if it bends as you try to use it.The cards are just barely short enough that they can fall and lay in the bottom. That is my only complaint. But I am thinking I will get a card stand and store it inside until the day that I have enough recipes that it isn't a concern.

She gave me the gift idea, I knew nothing about recipe boxes, did some internet shopping, picked this one, and she LOVED it. Not sure a better one exists for our needs/taste. Cannot comment much on functionality, as I mostly love eating and am indifferent to preparing food, but I think this will suit her recipe storage and access needs just fine. A classy and cute addition (to our kitchen) inside and out. Almost makes me wish I had recipes to store, but I mostly like rock n roll and take care of home/yard/car maintenance.
