Hi my husband and I bought this part for a 08 subaru impreza wrx. Like other we could not get the ball joint out of the old part. Ok so we tried heat no go. We did wd 40 nothing. We tried to drill nope. Tried the socket and drop with a jack trick well that came the closest to fixing this bad metal welded ball joint issue. Now fast forward a few days we bought this replacement and it fits perfectly. And yes please note it does not have any hardware to mount anything. So my husband and found the wheel sensor bolt is a m6 and about 10 mm long. We found it and replaced thar bolt. And the price we paid for this part was so much cheaper then any place else I looked for it. It works just like the original. I have not had any part of this fail. But be careful when putting back together. There are torgue specs. I don't know what the specific torque is for the bolts that hold the ball joint in place but I had no issues with the tightness of the bolt. I did not use any power tools to reassure the whole wheel hub assembly. I did use a slide hammer to remove the hub from the steering knuckle because it was only a few months old and still in excellent shape.

I snapped off the ball joint pinch bolt on my 2009 Subaru Forester while repalcing the lower control arms and ball joints. Tried drilling it out and broke off the drill bit in the hole. Not worth the effort to continue so I bought this steering knuckle. It was a great price, arrived very quickly and fit perfectly. It comes painted black except the machined surfaces, which I recommend putting a little anti-seize on to combat corrosion in the future. I have been driving the car for a few days now and have no issues. I would not hesitate to get this part again.

Purchased this due to a seized ball joint in the OEM knuckle. No ABS issues prior. Replaced this and now the car has ABS engaging ever time I hit the brakes. Just buy the OEM if you can afford it. If not spring the extra couple bucks for a dorman part. It works if you don't need ABS to function properly.

I had to replace this knuckle because I could not get the ball joint out of the original knuckle. This part fit and two weeks later the car is still driving.

In the description it says fits Wrx 2012-2014 and Impreza 2008-2010 so i bought it hoping it would fit a 2011 Wrx hatchback. And luckily it did. Installed with no problems. Make sure everything fits smoothly so you don’t have to wait on parts coming in! Going to be buying the other side soon.

Bought one of these for my 2012 Forester, no issues so far in more than 2 months of use. I would recommend this product
