If you are looking to add a few highlights to your vehicle without makinga dramatic change then this producct might be for you. The packging comes with plenty of alcohol wipes and enough of the border to cover 4 19" tires (I had plenty left over so would probably cover 20 or 22 as well)Installing was simple and consisted of thoroughly cleaning the rim with the alcohol wipe tuen applying the border. Installations was simple, essentially peel and stick. Whwn installing just be sure to stick to the border of the rim and attempt to avoid flattening out the curve. The border looks great once installed, quality seems good as the 2 way tape is 3m. Only Con i noticed was that the clear tape used to connect the end pieces wasnt very sticky and they only provided 4, in my case one did not apply and i needed to use a different type of tape.

First off, watch the installation video. It will make the process much easier. Make sure to clear your rims well with the prep pads and/or alcohol and let it dry. Also, sand or buff smooth any existing rim damage, you want a smooth surface for the adhesive to adhere to. The L-shape of the trim makes it easy to place it on the edge of the rims and it keeps the alignment even all the way around. Again, watch the video. I got the silver as I wanted to match the rim color and provide "invisible" protection. I was tempted to go for a color match with the car though. Either way, these look good and I have some extra left over if a section of the installed tape sacrifices itself to protect my rim, I can cut it out and replace it.

I've had some experience with similar vehicle sidetrim, so I already know how important the cleaning process is to a successful application. Follow the directions and don't shortcut things as "good enough". I clean as thoroughly as I can, then before doing the physical install do one more alcohol wipedown. More often than not I find a bit of dirt or oils still on the surface.So with this product specifically it is not quite as heavy as what I've usually applied, thus more malleable. Take your time and don't rush the process. It would be easy to unevenly apply it.I installed this in early October, and since then not looked closely at it until today. To no one's surprise it does have a few cuts, some rough edges and blemishes, but not places where the adhesive appears to have failed. It's typical wear and tear. These aren't designed to last for years. I'd tell a customer to plan to replace them annually, which is what will probably happen. They're not expensive, but do dress up the wheels. If you have a nice ride, it's worth the small expense and install time.

I have a car with a Sport yellow trim in various places around my car. The yellow goes really well in contrast to Gray/Black, but it's limited in its OEM placement.Found these and added them to my rims for cosmetic purposes only. I never hit the curb (knock on wood), so hopefully I'll keep it that way so it stays as a cosmetic addition. The yellow from this is pretty much an exact match for the other yellow trim areas on my car.Very simple to install. I always use 91% alcohol to make sure it is fully clean and 3M tape never fails using this prior to attaching.Very happy with the way this came out!

This stuff actually works to help protect the rims of your tires from getting scraped up. It was easy to apply and looks good too.

Contrary to what the description says stating that it would work with Tesla, it does not work with all Tesla factory wheels.My 2023 Model Y LR has 19†gemini wheels from the factory with wheel covers.As you can see from the picture, putting them on to protect the rims from curb rash would not allow you to take off the wheel covers without taking the protector off first.With being how expensive they are, you would have to replace them every time you rotated your tires or even when you buy new tires. This is a deal breaker.

These are absolutely great for curb rashed wheels.If you have wheels with outer lips that have been curb rashed, these hide the scratches and gives new live to the wheels.These are also great for protecting new wheels against curb rashes and those careless workers in tire shops who almost always cause some damage to my wheels when they mount new tires on the wheels.
