This hole-drilling jig for door lock sets, including hole saws for the knob and bolt, worked exactly as advertised. I had the difficult problem of drilling a larger hole for the knob cutout to install new hardware. Because it’s difficult to simply use a bigger hole saw without a guide hole for a drill bit, I was planning on clamping 1/2†wood scraps to both sides, carefully locating the center, then drilling the larger hole for knob hardware. This method seemed error-prone to me, so I kept hunting for a better way. When I came upon this jig that attached with strike plate screws, I knew it would work, and it is cheap! Great product!

We used this kit to put a dead bolt in our front door and it worked just like it was supposed to.

Absolute junk. Cheap price and got thru wooden door but couldn't do it twice.Hoke Saws spun elliptical ( pro drill and 20 yr professional contractor, so wasn't chucked wrong) teeth were not sharp, attachment by screws doesn't make it secure because set back adjustment wobbles loose when you drill. Total crap. If you want something you could use twice on the cheap go with ryobi. If you want something to use repeatedly go with milwaukee. 2 stars cuz you can actually get an install done with this.
