Finally got around to working on the atv after having part for over 30 days. Found out that something inside cdi was shorted to ground.couldnt return because I was past return date(my fault).

Does not work on Honda TRX 200. The correct part is about $150. This one makes your TRX 200 think it’s in reverse.

I was about to order one of these for my 84 200ES until I read the reviews. It evidently does the same thing the last two have, reverse and neutral lights both come on and of course it won't run. My question is why do they keep representing these as OEM replacements and keep right on selling them? Do they think for that money enough buyers will just grumble and throw them away? What's the solution short of paying a hundred for a used one?

Reverse light is always on, even when in neutral. Will not spark due to this issue.

Didn't recognize that the 3 wheeler was in neutral thought it was in reverse and would not allow bike to fire
