This is a great vacuum that rewards patience in perfecting zones. We had a first generation Roomba that had half the power of this little robot on its lowest setting. On high I would rate it on par with my Dyson Animal. They key, at least for me, has been to get a consistent base location, to allow it to map zones and to observe where it gets into jams , then to use the virtual wall and forbidden zone tools in order to block off areas where it gets tangled up and has trouble getting out. It is important to think like a robot when looking at zones. It sees under closed doors and through glass so take that into account when setting up virtual walls. It is very interesting to see it go through a sequence of behaviors when it gets stuck. I wish that it could , as it’s final attempt back up and retrace it’s steps for several inches before trying to turn. I also wish I could program it to stay on low level in some zones as the strong suction on carpet gets it tangle up with fringe on area rugs.We have a double coated dog, Buddy Boy, an Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler. As we enter the spring coat blowing season I am now able to vacuum daily while I get ready. I’m amazed at how throughly it cleans - it doesn’t miss an inch! Much more through than I’ll ever be!BTW there is some noise but no more so than our regular vacuums. Also it seems well sealed and the dust bin is easy to clean.

We compared this robot vacuum against our Dyson 360 VIS NAV as we were hopeful this vacuum would be a less expensive solution for us. Hands down, the UBPET software and mapping technology (LiDaR) are light years better, in every way. It mapped well, was user-friendly, and had all the options one would expect from a much more expensive robot. It is bagless and had a HEPA filter which could be washed. The biggest issue we saw was didn't clean the carpet well. We think it's because the brush doesn't have enough downward force against the carpet, the robot wasn't heavy enough, and the suction direction wasn't optimized for carpet. We would run the UBPET and then run the Dyson 360 VIS NAV right after it and then compare the bins. While the UBPET would have some (I.E. very little) dirt and pet fur, the Dyson would easily have 10x more pet fur and dirt. The UBPET acted like the carpet was already clean and really didn't pick up much. We even ran the UBPET on it's turbo mode and had it vacuum a room twice. We then sent in the Dyson, and the Dyson still easily outcleaned the UBPET.Maybe the UBPET would do better on non carpet floors, but for us, we need carpet cleaning. All in all, we were very disappointed as UBPET set themselves up as a Dyson competitor. Again, if you have mostly non carpet floors, this might be a great vacuum for you, but for us, we had to return it. Thank you Amazon and UBPET for letting us return it.

This bot works great. It’s not perfect though. Some forms of short rugs will have pet hair left over. The device sometime looses traction too. The suction on this is the selling point. It’s loud like a stand up Dyson and that’s a good thing. The mapping is excellent. A true bot vacuum. The path and programming of the bot vac is pretty in depth too. I would recommend this vacuum but I would say that it either needs to be weighted on the wheels or have a different treads and maybe the brush have some stiffer brissels on it to get the hair off short carpet completely.

I love this little vacuum! We have a cat and are fostering a cat, so our carpets were getting very furry and we could keep up with vacuuming. Other robot vacuums do not work well on carpet. But this vacuum sucks!!! 😹 As in it actually has sucking power! We get so much cat hair and dust out of our carpets (and not to mention my hair). It also did well with the litter my kitties got on the floor. I am very impressed, and I hope the quality holds up. Great purchase! One thing to note is that it is loud and needs to charge a few times to complete a job, but I personally do not mind at all.

I had such high hopes for this vacuum. Being designed for pet hair and carpet was on the top of my list for my living room area. I gave up on my old Neato D7 (that did a pretty good job with carpet and pet hair) and bought this. It touts 22000 pa suction, which would be awesome if it actually sucked the entire time it was moving, but it doesn’t. Every time it turns it stops sucking for 6-8 inches so it misses all of that area leaving hair and debris. It is dumb, not smart at all. Falls off of stairs, it will get to an edge, stop so you think it’s going to back up (like my 9 year old D7 would have) and then just keeps on going, I’m glad it was a single step. Does it pick up hair, yes. I guess it would be best served on hard floor and low throw rugs. But it’s just not intelligent. The path it decides to run is the worst for its suction. Instead of taking longer areas the length, it goes back and forth in the narrow area (losing suction at each turn and a good 5-8 inches after the turn), so that seems this 22000pa suction is only happening when it’s cruising along longer paths. Maybe if the room was open without many obstacles it would do better as well. I sent this back, got myself another Roborock on Black Friday sale. I have had great results on tile and wood with the Roborock with mop, so I figured I’d give the vacuum without mop a try since the Neato’s are no longer made. For reference I have medium carpet height.
