Iรขโฌโขve used Polly Plastics and National Geographic tumbling grit. Both have 1200 grit for stage 4. When I tried this, I was shocked by the difference. I didnรขโฌโขt have to tumble as long and the polish was much shinier compared to the other brands (mentioned above).One thing to note is, the price seems much higher on Amazon vs independent sellers.This 2lb is $29.95 vs $6.95 per pound (2lb approximately $14) from other sellers like The Rock Shed. Iรขโฌโขm not sure what The Rock Shed charges for shipping but, they have a lot of other products at good prices. Iรขโฌโขve never ordered from them directly.I love the convenience and reliability of buying through Amazon. But, at 2x the cost, Iรขโฌโขll probably give other sellers a try.Either way, this grit is awesome!!

I'm very impressed in the shine that this product has given the polished rocks. I am excited about also trying it on many of my other rocks, that I had thought were completed, to bring out more shine on them. I will definitely continue to use this as my final finish.

Not happy with my purchase. I have tried over and over again but this actually dulls stones already polished in step 4.

This made jasper, chert and agatized fossils duller than 1500 grit. Who knows what was in the container? I won't buy again
