Keeping weight down in bike riding is always pretty important to some. These water bottle cages do not only keep the weight down, but they are durable as well. The aluminum construction gives it a premium feel with light weight and a reasonable cost.The right side access for water bottles makes it easy to remove and insert the bottles while you are riding. There is a slight bend at the top that works perfectly to keep your water bottle positioned correctly. I use slightly smaller water bottles (21oz) but these cages can support larger bottles as well.Overall these water bottle cages do an amazing job being super durable while keeping weight down.

I have cracked two carbon cages, and with the addition of a frame bag I needed cages that would allow side entry. These are sturdy well designed and provide easy side or top entry. The price per pair was a bargain when I purchased them. These work well on the frame, but they would be excellent to mount on the forks if your bike or bike packing demands make for limited mounting choices.Don’t overthink the purchase unless you’re counting every gram, the difference in weight between these and their carbon equivalent is about two swigs off of your water bottle. These will survive a crash or rough use, my carbon cages did not.

Nice and light as expected... just one oddity:One of the screw holes lines up perfectly with the other side of the bottle cage, making it impossible to get a longer allen key or screwdriver to turn the bolt at the right angle!It's almost like the designer never even tried to install one of these themselves, because it would be easy to simply re-locate the opposing side of the bottle cage, just by 6mm or-so, and allow-for a straight-shot into the bolt.As it is, I had to use a tiny L-shaped allen key and a lot of 90-degree turns to install these.I suppose it is a one-time inconvenience, but it is such an easy fix that I have a hard time understanding why it is designed this way with the bottle cage blocking direct access to the bolt-head on the other side.

Fantastic little cage. Put one on my Kona Progress 134 (tight fit full suspension) and a second on my daughters little 20 inch Giant STP along with a rock bros stubby bottle. This was the only combination I could use to fit water on that sweet little MTB.

Aside from being bent in shipping (Amazon shipped it in a thin plastic envelope) I can buy a stainless steel bolt and they send it overpacked in a big box...this semi-fragile aluminum bottle cage came in a envelope and was bent beyond repair. It otherwise looks to be a nice bottle cage and the blue color matched other blue anodized items on my bike. I wish I could use it. Too much of a hassle for me to return.NOT the fault of Rock Bros. every rock bros item I have purchased has met or exceeded my expectations.Update: Rock bros. Reached out to me and sent me another bottle cage that arrived unscathed. I love it and thank you very much Rock Bros.
