These are a very economical way to extend your cycling season as the weather cools down. My husband was reluctant to try them, but became a believer after his first bike ride. They come up high enough so that your riding shorts easily cover them, and they actually stay in place. The ankles don't ride up either, staying firmly tucked into your socks. If the weather warms up as you're riding, which is very typical when you're going on a long ride, you can slip them off on the side of the trail or road if you want to. The biggest thing is that they actually do a decent job of keeping his legs warm.

These are warm and wind proof. Nice soft fleece lining. I wore them two different days of temperatures between 38F and 48F. One of the days it rained also. Riding a road bike, speed between 12-16mph. Distance 50-60 miles. 3 stars for warm and wind proof. 1 star off for not being very stretchy fabric. After about 20 miles, I could feel it pulling on my knees and it caused some pain in my knees. 1 star off for not staying up the entire ride. I think this also goes back to the lack of stretch. I had to stop and pull them up probably about 4+ times during the length of the rides. I will keep them and I will use them again on cold morning because they definitely kept my legs warm. I am 5’2â€, I ordered S/M and they were long enough and were comfortably snug on my thighs

I like these leg warmers, but I think I got at least one size too big. I measured my thigh’s circumference and got 20.5 in. Based on the size chart, I picked XL/2XL even though that’s rarely a size I wear (I’m 5’ 11†and 163 lbs). The tights were a little baggy on me, but to their credit, despite sliding down somewhat, they stayed up enough that none of my thigh was exposed by the end of a 25 mile ride. (The before picture is in front of the garage, and the after photo is in front of a blue door.) They are nicely lined and kept me warm. They also come up higher on my leg than other leg warmers I have, maybe because they are 2XL. I’m deducting one star for the loose fit, but they are a good product, and I will keep wearing them.
