Product Description

Drop in the Bass!

P1-2X10

The most convenient way to get low frequency bass in your system is to drop-in a Punch loaded enclosure. We're not talking junk in the trunk, we're talking the same genuine Punch woofers available separately.

The P1-2X10 is dual 10” Punch P1 SVC subwoofers in a Rockford Fosgate built vented enclosure, with a power handling of 500 Watts RMS and wired to a 2-Ohm load.

Rockford Fosgate’s Punch loaded enclosures are constructed with durable 5/8" MDF and tuned by our computer aided design software to ensure quality sound and high output. Punch P1 loaded enclosures feature similar tonal performance as our P2 & P3 models, but are easier to move in-n-out of vehicles due to their lighter weight.

The Rockford Fosgate precision-built enclosure and Punch subwoofer make the P1-2X10 an ideal solution to quickly and easily add serious bass to your system. Just wire it to your existing compatible amp and hear the boom!

Just finished the installation today and all I can say is "WOW"! Very easy install, less than a couple hours. Paired this with a RF 500w amp (came rated at 650w). I put this in the so called back seat of my '78 fiat spider. It fit nicely. When you are checking dimensions be sure to double check as they are correct. By that I mean this thing was bigger than expected, but true to its listed measurements. On paper it just seemed smaller. Now on the sound: Keep in mind I have this firing directly into my back. The size of my car puts one of these directly behind the driver and passenger seats. Its loud. Very loud. I had nearly every teenager on my block coming over to check out the noise. Sitting in front of this moves you. It moves your mirrors and anything not fastened down. I have the gain turned up to about 65% and its all I can do to bear the volume. I've listened to AC/DC MJ DMX Lady Gaga Tom Petty Ozzy the Beastie Boys and some guy named 2 chains (? teenagers). From punching bass drums to the digital tones these speakers provide mass quantities of hard hitting chest rattling bass.At first I was reluctant to make this purchase because I had my eye on the P3 and 1200w setup, but felt that I would settle for a cheaper more respectable alternative. I thought I would be disappointed with an inferior output and left wanting more. However this did not turn out to be true. I am very pleased and surprised by this set of speakers. Anything more and I would be driven out of my car. I have no idea what the decibels are that these produce but its a lot. A whole lot.On a side note my son was "snap chatting" all his friends a picture of me unpacking this thing. I looked like I was 9 years old on Christmas. The notation was my dad has gone crazy. After it was installed he told me I was awesome. Made me pretty proud of myself to hear that from a 16yr old. Although he is right, I'm crazy.I highly recommend these speakers. They are big, heavy, and loud. If putting them in a small car or SUV where there is no trunk to muffle the sound these will be a tremendous addition. If you just want to go deaf get something bigger. My entire set up has come from AMAZON and I am now a loyal customer. I have a Kenwood radio (3 RCA outs a must) a RF four channel 250w amp pushing my RF 6x9" and 6.5" and a RF 500w amp. I think I'll also be installing a 2 farad capacitor just to preserve my battery a little longer. If only it were still 1993...

Great great box and subs. The two P1s sound unreal in my car. They hit plenty hard with the right amp. Not earth shattering, but I don’t see the purpose In that anyway. I was looking at this box and the MTX terminators. Go with these everyday. You’ll spend an extra $100 but you can see the Rockford Fosgate quality the second you take a look at the box. Everything works great and my god is the box beautiful in person. I’ve had it for a week and received countless compliments from coworkers on how badass they look. You can tell it’s a quality box with some quality speakers, even if you know nothing about car audio.

I decided on the tens vs the 12s, because I have a brand new Charger and wanted to have nice clear quality bass. Rockford Fosgate is a well known reputable brand. The 2 tens do not disappoint. I have a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime amp running to them. The gain is set about 21/2 and Punch set 3/4 up and only playing below 80hz. Factory head unit (cant change cause steering and climate controls are in head unit) so I ran a PAC Line Out Converter from rear 6x9s... I have the mid and treble set to 3 on unit, bass to 0 , so I can add bass from head unit if wanted.Overall, sounds great with rap and anything with heavy beat bass, no distortion . Just clean great quality thump. Sounds like drums in my trunk. Some rattle and beat outside car but nothing crazy horrendous and cant hear me a mile away or anything (wasn't what I wanted.) My trunk looks great with the subs as well, and when open up trunk all you hear is BOOM , would be great for parking lot "pimping" (LOL).I have been told my tens sound like 2 12s, I think because how I have set up, and also because Rockford Fosgate is a great brand.

Very loud, very hard hitting setup, first off, RF’s need at least a week to break in, if you bought the recommended amp(RF Prime 500.1)it’s fine, start off at between 1/4 & 1/2 gain, punch level 1/2 way, if you got a bass knob, even better, but don’t listen to these nut reviewers who complained that the woofers gave out in less than 3-6 months, if you don’t break the woofers in properly, your just wasting money and blew a nice RF setup, I have a RF Power 750 on mine, it is pounding my hatch loose it feels like, neighbors complain that I rattle picture frames off their walls, wife can hear me at least a mile away before I even get to her, to pick her up from work, I love my complete RF setup in my Mazda CX-5(2013),Update: I just did some research on these bad puppies. RF really underrated these bad boys by half, RMS is actually 500 watts and peak is 1000 watts, so I’m gonna buy the RF R2 1200.1 and will let you know how it sounds

These did the job for about 2 weeks and now they don’t work. I didn’t even put them on 1/2 gain and no louder than 3/4 volume and they gave out.I only realized after that the 12’s were not prime eligible so NO RETURNS.Maybe I got a dud but who knows… if I had to do it again I would by the 10’s since they are prime and returnable!
