Got rid of my old t bar because I didn’t use DJ lights in years. I wanted something to attach to my ultimate speaker stands in case I want to put up some lights. This is great it’s heavy duty you can expand and become a huge light bar. And the Rockfill sticker easily peels off so you don’t have that cheesy sticker!

The connection to the stand is not universal. It is square. Didn't open with in the return window.

First the build quality , very well made and high quality hardware and second it can extend pretty far out so you can reach further. Also the price is a steal for this.

This does not fit my lighting tripod and the mounting screws are smaller than on most lighitng brakets. So the wording that it fits standard lighting stands is not accurate. I have no use for this thing now and when I tried to return it you can't get your money back. Rockville charges its customers for the return of an item they can't use. That cost is 66% of the toal price which is over half the cost of the original item. My refund would be $19 on a $55 item. What a ripoff. This is the last time I ever buy from these people. I have never once been charged that kind of money to return an item that does not work. I would have bought more merchandise from this supplier if they would honor the return policy most companies have when the item does not do what its supposed to do for a customer.

If you have extra speaker stands available, this turns them in to a solid, versatile light stand. The bar extends from 5' to 7'. The only negative is that it transports at 5' long...but I don't know how they could make it break down smaller and still be as solid.

The description says this is a t-bar stand. There is no stand included in this product. It is just the top. Also it fits smaller in diameter than many of the other lighting stands there on the market.
