I was looking forward to receiving the brass push plates from Rockwood, however when I received the two of them yesterday, I only had to open one to know that I was sending them back. I have never seen so many scratches on a piece of brass in my life. I would not buy from these people again.

The product is actually satin matte finished, not a bright reflective polish.

Well polished heavy duty push plate. They had a cheaper brand at Lowes but it was brass sheet metal and rather waved in the breeze. In addition the edges of the screws on their head are even polished so there's no sharp edges. A useful, decorative and functional addition to the house. Don't neglect to pull off the second protective film on the polished surface when you put it up.
