Well made rod .Spanning over 6 feet and it feels sturdy enough to use for pull ups! Definitely buy again. Not the cheapest, but well worth the investment. Heavy well machined parts.

My rental unit has a total of 4 wooden closet rods. One broke really separated (wood pieces glued together then made round shape) all others solid wood rods. Had very few clothes and none in area that split. This metal rod if Fantastic! Relatively easy to install, seems very sturdy, Heavy Weight. Yes this is pricey and time will tell as to the longevity .... I would Recommend that you try it. Great to have clothes off of the floor and hanging up again

This was exactly what I was expecting. I attached this to the stud in the closet and it is super sturdy. Definitely works.

Easy to install and really sturdy. I have a lot of heavy clothes, and they are densely packed in my 5-foot-long closet, but this rod is holding up just fine. To provide additional support, especially with drywall, first mount a 1/2" or 3/4" thick x 4" high board to each side of the closet, and then mount the rod into the board, using screws long enough to penetrate into the wall.

Tried to use previous hardware for my closet. It is a must to use whats including, especially for mounting. Nonetheless I got this for my previous 96in closet rod. That one was wood and lasted for about 7mos. Snapped in half like a tree in the forest. No one knew because where I live, it’s summer and no need for jackets or coats. So far I am impressed. The mistake I made and noticed afterwards is the hardware wasn’t mounted the same on both ends which plays a major part for installing and securing the rod in place. The screws to secure rod is what’s saving me right now. I know I’ll have to adjust soon but I needed to hurry and hang all the coats and jackets back into the closet. I’m confident this will hold for what we have for now but I know if I’ll be adding more, that’s more weight so I’ll most likely get a bracket for the middle to hold. Arrived in 2 days as shown in picture, no damage. Thank you!

Bought 3 of them. One was slightly dented but who cares it’s a closet Rod. The quality is actually really nice. Very sturdy. They have a nice finish on them as well. Definitely would buy again!

This was literally the third rod I tried for the application and I wish it was the first. This one was easy to install and is very sturdy. We are using it in a closet for a curtain and are very satisfied. I will probably be buying a couple more in the near future.

Awesome product. Definitely heavy duty as advertised. As long as you anchor it properly into a stud or with proper strength drywall anchors (if you have no stud in the area) it’s excellent. I have many heavy coats and other items hanging on mine over a 5’-0†span without and additional support at the midpoint of the rod. That is why I bought it in the first place, did not want to add an additional support. Nice clean look.

This rod is very high quality. The material is really solid with a beautiful finish.Since it is an adjustable model, one side is thicker than the specified 1.5" which meant it needs a larger hole than expected. Installation does not take that long but the rid is basically held in place my screws that poke into it on 3 sides, it is not an exact fit for both sockets since sockets are the same size but ends of the rod are not.Overall a nice and sturdy product but if they matched sockets to the different ends of the rod, it would have been better. Even more so, if the sockets and rod had a matching indent to lock them in alignment.

It tells me to use a certain drill bit for drywall so I did then put in the drywall plugs and knew right away the hole was too big. I try anyways and all the screws screw into the pins and then the pins just free spin and pull right out of the wall. Why woukd you use drywall pins with no threads? They just slip right out. i’ve been looking everywhere for a closet rod this long now I don’t know what to do.
