I needed very short rods like these which were, surprisingly, hard to find. I wanted to gather 25" printed panels on 10" rods and mount them on either side of the white sheers on my patio doors(which was all the space that was left). I bought these rods and had to build them out from the wall to meet the depth of the sheers. WOW! What a difference that made to the room! Got rid of that stark white look and brightened thewhole place up and only cost about 50 bucks! *These would be very easy to install if you were using them as they were intended to be used.

Needed rods that were close-held at the ends, and these are that. Only four stars because they rely on a friction piece, on the anchor, that looks like it might lose some of its hold if you remove and reinstall the rods repeatedly. We used these rods to mount custom-sized fabric "curtains" inside the glass-panel doors of a bathroom cabinet.

Very easy to install. Curtain wraps around the rod end and hides the hardware. Also very easy to remove the curtains for cleaning

These were definitely easy to install and serve their purpose. The issue with harming the fabric as other reviewers mentioned is not a big deal. If you load the fabric on the one side (with the small cover) you can protect the fabric. These are a great choice because they are hidden once installed. Plus, a lot of trims will not work with tension rods (like ours) and if you need a solid stretch (as you do with a sheer) you will need something solidly installed to support the pull of the fabric.

Cons:-The instructions are not clear at all. It's just a couple of pictures that amount to "take the mounts and put them where you want them."-I didn't receive any anchors, which I assumed I would based on the pictures, but it's not a big deal for side light curtains.-Very overpriced. For what you get, these should be half what they're priced at.Pros:-Despite the instructions, it really is just that easy to install.Note: There are some rough edges, as others mentioned, but the instructions do show to slide the rubber end through the curtain to avoid any damage.-Easy to place and remove the curtains (with maybe a little jiggling)-Basically invisible inside the curtain pocket

I have installed many curtain rods, and these are by far the worst. The clips on the ends do not secure inside the rods, so they are easily knocked off the wall. Very poor design. I will have to jury rig these since I can't get a refund.

I looked everywhere around me for rods that would fit in a 8†space. These rods worked perfectly.
