this is my second time purchasing this jacket. Initially I purchased it in 2022 for my 2 year old, he wore it until he grew out of it and now my twins who are also 2 are starting to wear this jacket + the new one.It's very light so it doesn't restrict movement, the color is cute and it has survived dozens of laundry cycles.

This jacket does hold in the warmth on my grand baby's little body. He is 6 and is very slim so he had no problems fitting this jacket which doesn't allow for alot of room for layering at all. AND if your child is on the chunky side it will be a 'slim fit' i can assure you. But i understand that they needed to keep the fabric close to the body/arms to keep in the warmth the body generates. Makes sense because the fabric is thin, meaning there is the fabric then the thin layer of down then fabric. I have a northface down jacket and it is very fluffy and thick. I've also bought my grandbaby north face jackets up to the age of 5, every winter he gets a new jacket so this year i wanted to see if i could spend less on his jacket while not sacrificing the warmth. I felt this was a good job. I still feel leary about the warmth it is providing so i'll stick my hand in the arm section or body section to see if it is warm and it IS, so i can't complain. It doesn't get or stay too cold in the southern state we live in so i feel it is fine. I would go back to my north face jackets for him if i lived in the northern states and i don't know IF the jacket would provide enough warmth, maybe it would but my brain is stuck on the nice plump thickness of a more expensive northface jacket. I can't help it!!! This is a great lil jacket though. Would def be purchasing again after his next growth spurt.

We ordered this for a last minute trip to Europe where it was considerably colder than where we live. I love packable jackets since we only do carryon luggage and these compress down into a really small package. The little stuff bag that came with this one was downright cute because it was so small--it would fit in Mom's purse!Although we liked the jacket, the color and style were nice, and it is very soft, but it ran very true to size. It was tighter than I would have liked considering we had to wear layers of clothing underneath. It was a bit tight most of the time and I purchased it a size bigger than he normally wears. It also was not terribly warm compared to the other jackets we purchased. I did not take not of the weight of the filling, but it was not enough for walking around all day with the temps in the 30s. Other packable jackets have been warmer than this one. If you just need it for school or to walk into and out of a building, it should be sufficient.

When they say "light weight" they mean "this is the thinnest coat you have ever seen." Like seriously, my husband and I are scratching our heads and wondering if there is ANY down in there or if they forgot it. Returning it immediately. This is definitely not a winter coat - maybe a spring or fall. Expected at least a little "puff" for 45 dollars.

Nice light weight jacket. My 11 year old son was refusing to wear a winter coat with his sweatshirts and I couldn’t blame him. This feels nice and is so lightweight but still warm that he no longer complains. He is little for his age so normally I would go with a size down but because of other reviews I sized up I think maybe it was 11/12. It fits him well with some room to grow.

This jacket is made too small. I ordered a size 8-9 for my 6 year old with the intention that it would still fit for spring. It fits him tight, he would be able to wear it right now but he would not be able to wear a sweater underneath and would definitely not fit him after winter. It is thin, so with our Canadian fall season, he would definitely need something warm underneath.I will send it back because it is not really useful for us with the colder temperature staring soon. I would say it would be better for the colder summer nights out camping not for the Canadian fall weather.Seller sent me a return ticket for me to send it back. I will need to pay the return shipping and they offer to reimburse up to 20$ From to shipping fees.
