Very sturdy but not ridiculously heavy. Some assembly required by comes with necessary tool, instructions, and highly intuitive. Very confident gigging with this. Leg room is tight, not the best for someone with long legs.Disappointed price dropped $15 about 2 weeks after our order.

Excellent stand for travel. It is bit on the heavy side but is expected since I opted for the double instead of the single brace. Once assembled (easy to do) setting up the stand is as simple as pulling a lever, once at the right height let go of lever.Seams to be very well built I would easily recommend this for anyone looking for a portable stand. Two things to consider though. One it is wide when folded so it would take up space for storage. Two It does way a bit. A single person can easily lift it but because it is well built, the weight could be a factor.Edit: Third reason to consider is storing objects underneath is not practical. Because of its design there is very little room for storage should you use this as a permanent stand. Example a garbage can can not fit.

It’s what you expect from Roland. I have a lot of Roland and Boss equipment and I buy it because it’s well made and lasts. No exception here.

This stand has a critical flaw: it does not adjust low enough, as indicated by other users...There is one hack though: you know you can make it taller and taller? Well, make it taller and taller and flip it 90 degree, and now you have a "low" stand. But the catch is, you need to put on the bars differently, because some bars are longer and they are meant for the floor... also, is it structurally stable and safe to flip it 90 degree? The user should check with the manufacturer. In terms of not enough leg room, I think you can move the stand a bit forward and then pull the piano a little backward, and now you have more leg room. But don't over do it and make sure the piano's edge is still on the bars...Oh well, what I feel is that Roland should really make this more versatile: at least make it adjustable to lower... come on, they are a musical instrument company.

A shout out to service rep Kendra and her pro resolution skills. It's all you need in an x braced stand. Well made!

The stand is sturdy, well balanced and fits my Roland Fantom perfectly. I was very happy with the price. It is certainly a good value.

If you have a low chair, this equipment may not be suitable for you. However, you can place it sideways to make it work.

It's been the most sturdiest stands I've ever tried ... The materials are top-notch, however the (KS-20x) is only ideal if you play standing up. The lowest position it folds to, is about 31" inches high, which made it WAY too high when I'm playing sitting down. Had to return it for this reason.
