OEM product worked perfectly out of the box. Our church drummer finally, after 10 years of use, damaged the mesh head on the old drum. I could not find a replacement head, and replacing the entire drum was easy and not overly expensive. Been using it a few weeks and everything sounds and feels fine.

It's a great product. I wish it was made a little more that the mount for the td4k portable roland drum set is not compatible with this. I just wanted to leave this review with the hope it may help someone with a similar question i had prior to purchasing. This works well and is completely compatible to use as a snare with a Donner drum module. Highly satisfied with it!
