The keyboard is wonderful. All of the features and sounds are Roland standard. The weighting is surprising given the overall weight of the keyboard. The internal speakers are a bit disappointing as they really only put out a little bit of sound. Great to be used in a on-stage or pit setting with adequate monitoring.

I love this keyboard. the feel is super good, it is very sturdy, and it has a good variety of instruments. as a MIDI controller, it is ok. the built in speakers are good enough if you are not performingit also comes with a pedal

Love the sound and feel of Roland RD-88. The menus are not very user friendly but once you get used to using them they're not too bad.

The standard speaker volume is rather low, even at maximum. External powered speakers are probably required. Otherwise, stellar.

This is a stage piano. Stage pianos don't usually have speakers since they are meant to be played through an audio system. This model has a pair of small speakers for convenience, which is a nice perk.

it is a present for my son. my son loves this piano and plays every day.he thoroughly loves the quality of this piano. it has all the solid basic feature working as expected.he is figuring out how to combine its usage with midi works - to do his own composition.he loves this piano thoroughly therefore I'm giving 5 stars

I absolutely love Roland pianos, and having toured quite a bit I love the size and weight of this model. The pianos are amazing. But the organ patches are not good, and the worst part is there is not a good way to control the Leslie speed. It is preset such that you use the modulation wheel which makes it sound awful. I have spend countless hours trying to setup a foot switch to do a simple slow/fast Leslie effect but this unit simply does not have that capability. Cmon Roland... you would have knocked it out of the park if you had nailed the B3/Leslie section. Boo.

In case you are looking for a stand for the RD-88 I would recommend either KSCFP10 (Roland stand for FP-10 which has the exact same bottom-plate as the RD-88) or K&M 18953 which will fit perfectly. All other stands are too deep for the RD-88 which is only 26cm. Any stand other than the KSCFP10 will add 2-3 cm height so if you plan to use the RD-88 at home, I would recommend the Roland KSC-FP-10 and the DP-10 sustain pedal.

Ho acquistato l' Rd 88 dopo averci pensato molto.L' offerta e la concorrenza in questa fascia di strumenti e' molto agguerrita ,anche yamaha fa ottimi strumenti ,ancge se questo per la fascia di prezzo intorno ai 1000 euro credo non abbia rivali ,ottimi suoni ,tasti veramente belli da pigiare fatte con avorio sintetico che simulano molto l' avorio del vero pianoforte . Dotata anche di mixer interno ,per cui può essere collegato un microfono o mixer o una chitarra .Amplificazione veramente buona per uno strumento così,può essere utilizzato anche senza casse per suonare in ambienti non troppo grandi.Oltre a questo e' dotato di diversi ritmi interni che possono servire per esercitarsi a tenere il tempo .Che dire un ottimo acquisto che rifarei e consiglio a tutti.

Fait l’affaire…surtout clavier maître pour moi..Faut s’habituer au toucher…les sons internes sont bien. Sons pianos à rectifier grâce aux paramètres , il y a mieux…sons Rhodes, pads, strings, synthés intéressants. C’est un bon clavier…c’est Roland.
