The closest you will get to the OG Grandfather VNLA, which sells for $499. This product, RollerDerby Elite is very nice. Comfortable skate with the right sizing. I custom the tongue with wrist bands to keep the white fur from getting dirty or warned. Comes with indoor wheels, ofcourse you may switch out. I definitely recommend ordering toe guards. I wish they made the skate bar underneath all metal but you can always switch out down the line. So far, a beautiful skate in a decent price range for a skater, not a beginner. The reason I say skater not beginner, is only because of the toe stopper, it's made for experienced skaters, but again, that's something you may switch out for your preference. This skates may be fully costumed with a professional [painting, picture, graffiti, leather stitch, etc.] You will not regret the purchase.

Hands down, these are the BEST pair of skates I ever bought. I wear 6.5/7 in women's, I got th 5 in mens. It runs big but, I adjusted easily to that. It's also provides high quality when it come to comfort and was extremely easy adjusting and getting use to. I loved the wheels that it came with. They have the right smoothness and slide for indoor skating. I'm just one of those skaters that perfer hybrid wheels.

I was reading reviews about these being too big or too small. I have a wide foot size 13. I ordered the 13 in these skates and they fit perfectly. Not too loose, not too tight. I can wear thin socks or a thicker sock if I choose to. I also replaced the bearing with Roller Bones “bones†and they are waaaay smoother. I’m just getting back into skating after years and years so I didn’t wanna spend nearly a thousand dollars on the OG’s. These are perfect for rhythm skating and look great. If anything goes wrong with these I’ll definitely come back and update my review. But so far so good! BTW, If you were like me and wondered which skate to buy the best advice I can give is to find your style of skating first. You wanna do speed skating, dance, outside in the elements etc etc. Find out what you wanna do FIRST then choose the model skate that best fits what style you’re going for. Peace.

I actual like this product production of a skate, runs a little bigger than I thought, but it came well packaged, very clean, smelled pretty ok, no stains or mark on the boot or wheels and feels pretty comfortable and I like the way I can customize the tongue to lay flat! I would recommend if your looking for some new skates.

Great alternative to the more expensive brands. These skates are durable and have good support. My daughter loves them and uses them for JB skating.
