First things first.. this is only 4 wheels which means that you will need to buy 2 packs in order to use them with quad skates. You will also need a 16 bearing pack to accomodate all 8 wheels because you need 2 bearings per wheel.These 85A (soft) wheels are perfect for outside use ESPECIALLY after dusk , but can still be used by a novice skater or someone who doesn't like switching wheels indoors.BUT be warned..- these will feel clunky on your feet in the roller rink- they will be heavier and stickier than usual indoor wheels- if you are NEW to skating DO NOT LOOK AT YOUR GLOWING FEET (Look down, fall down!!)But.. if you want stability, fear going too fast, and have deer legs these will be PERFECT- They are wide (to make a wobbly leg person feel stable)- Will stick to the indoor floor surface (to slow you down)while you're learning control. You will need to be careful when installing these on to your skates.. the magnetic spacers are included but bearings aren't they go on opposing sides of the spacer which will go into place easily and shouldn't have to be forced. You won't be crushed the spacer when installing but when tightening them to the skate axel it is easy to make them too tight which could crush the spacer and make it useless. These will light when tightened properly and that will help you indicate when they are on correctly if they spin a lot but dont light up they are too loose!I can say other led wheels are $10 each MSRP so you could mix and match these for under $80 which is really cool since skate equipment costs add up when you love to personalize!. They seem pretty brightbut I only have 4 so I can only compare them to some smaller light up wheels in a different durometer I currently have a full set of.My only issue.. I have to buy another pack to skate with these at night now that it's spring lol.There is no 8 wheels purchase option so it's the only bummer I HAD to accept on delivery day which is when I decided they're worth their price!Happy skating.

These are nice looking and I guess they might be good for certain skaters, but for me not so much. The issue is that they only come with 4, so unless you have 4 other wheels that are the same height and width, and same hardness, these are not really useful. Also, they don't come with bearings, so you have to remove bearings from your other wheels and install them in these. I got these for my wife, but didn't realize it was only 4, so that's on me. I didn't take away anything for that. All I would say is that for this price, you can get 4 wheels, or even 8 wheels, that come with bearings, which makes it much easier to swap out wheels. So just keep that in mind when ordering.
