My family says I make great pie crust. The only problem I had is that my crusts were never in one piece not even all the way through. With this rolling pin - on the blue setting - this year's crusts not only tasted great but looked great too! This will be my new holiday must-have.It is really easy to use. The metal (versus the usual wood) makes it harder for the crust to stick to it. The genius part is the sides with the thickness gauges. They screw in so they are secure. And with the metal, you can wash it in the dishwasher if you want. It's a win-win-win.

I have always used a traditional rolling pin with handles, but struggled with an even depth when rolling out pie shells and cookie dough for cut outs. With a bit of practice it works quite well. A bit tricky for large pieces of dough, but nice option

This is a solid piece. I expected it to be hollow, but it's solid and sturdy. I don't see it warping. I bought this based on the reviews and I am glad for it. I will only wash with mild dish soap because I don't want the ruler imprint to wear off.

My husband has been using the same rolling pin that I had back in the early 90's.He's been having problems getting the egg noodle dough rolled out evenly.I was looking for a rolling pin for my crafts and found this rolling pin and I just had to buy it for my husband. This is great wish I would have had it for all my pie dough. And no worries about spinners, no sharing of bacteria etc. Great buy.

Easy to use, and easy to clean. Ring sized are held on by screw top ends making them easy to change.

It could be me, not used to baking that much and only having used classical rollers in the past. But here is what I thought: the roller is way too light to be useful, the interchangeable thickness discs are unpractical to change from one setting to the other, and this adjustment is pretty useless compared to having an actual roller with some weight onto which one can lean into in order to adjust the thickness.
