We thought they were going to be a little longer and a lot more sturdy. You can't put but one hot dog on them on the bend.

Be aware that these are not the older style ones that had 1.5 foot longer shafts with about 2 inch longer spear tips. My hands were burning trying to use these near our campfire. They are made with quality material that would work if you had a really small fire but any decent camp fire (in a camp fire ring for size relation) is going to roast your knuckles. Quality material though. I missed the length part when buying them so this is mainly my fault not the mfg'ers. Just wanted people to know before buying.
