The F10 needle is to be used on rope Ø upto 2mm The F15 needle is to be used on rope Ø from 2 to 4mm The F20 needle is to be used on rope Ø from 4 to 6mm The F25 needle is to be used on rope Ø from 6 to 8mm Rope sizes are approximate as the needles work in many other situations. For example use it to pull the cover of a 14 mm rope back in itself.

Expensive, but the only way to easily splice. Maybe the stainless is what makes it cost so much.

Disappointed. I was using to splice 1/4 Dyneema for soft shackles and friction rings. Unfortunately it broke at the tip after fifth time using.

Nice gadget for splicing double braid and other tasks. However, a piece of 1/16" music wire is a lot more versatile. This is somewhat overpriced for what it is and what can replace it, so I took off two stars. Main beef is sometimes it just isn't long enough. I have about 100 feet of piano wire so I can make my own of any length needed. Anyone who can figure out how to splice double braid should be able to figure out how to use a piece of wire instead of a gadget to do so. Maybe three start is too much? Nah. It is well made, for all of being too short. Half a thumb up.

It is the go for splicing. The only problem was that there were burrs on the wire, likely from the extrusion process. Rather than returning, I just polished them off. No snagging, now

I bought two of these because the first one was defective with burr in at least two spots. And was destroying the inside of my line. Amazon wouldn’t let me return so I bought another. Second one was just as bad. Do not recommend. Nice concept tho.

Consegna puntuale ma prodotto troppo costoso le spese di incasso lo hanno fatto costare il 50% in più e non era molto ben specificato nell’ordine

These splicing "needles" are not magic wands. I am of the opinion they are okay to good, but not great. I have a cross-section of splicing tools; I prefer the late Brian Toss' Splicing Wand or Selma Fids. The old McGrew splicing tools were awesome, but you can't get them anymore, since Mr. McGrew passed away. In summary, they will do the job, especially when dealing with high tech materials, but not as smoothly as may like.
