Description clearly states that the device fits from 1/2" -5/8" yet the stamp on the device only states 5/8" or 14MM-16MM when received.

I have been cutting branches that have draped over neighbour's roof. Climbing the roof has been a challenge, not only being very steep - close to 14-12, like super steep but also very long climb to the peak. Prior to receiving this unit, I had been using the Prusit hitch on a 5/8 rope and while it was also secure, by the time I am ready to decend the Prusit hitch was binding severely, making it difficult to release and move down.Anyways, using this on the rope line, and it was like night and day. No binding, easy release to move up and lock, and sliding down was easy and secure without worry of slipping down the rope.Honestly I now wish I had researched this earlier and it would have saved me now several trips up and down the roof, I could have done the work a lot faster the first or second trips up.

Nothing wrong, But, I have the 5/8" diameter rope and this does not fit well. The grab ascender slides back and forth (or up and down) along the rope, which will make the user dangerous when accident really happens.

La calidad de el producto es buena aunque hay productos de mejor calidad pero cuestan hasta siete veces lo que cuesta este, en mi caso yo perdà uno muy caro y lo voy a justificar con la empresa entregando en su lugar este que acabo de comprar asà que salà ganando saludos.
