Can't say if it would hold up but can say it's quite Italian-style 'fashionable' -- and I wanted to get away a bit from the Camo look. THE BIG BONUS is that it has a lot more pockets than advertised; like 8 or 9 (one pocket got double slots in it). so with all these pockets and could even hang things from the epaulets it's a useful tool. I tried a fishing vest but pockets too tiny, vest shrunk. Tried a cheap substitute with like suspenders but didn't like, very flappy around. So I like the mesh vest top, sturdy, vest doesn't flap around, good sized varied of pockets...and so fashionable that I'd love to wear it to my next formal dance...if that happens ever before my next camping trip. (P.S. SIZE. 2XL fit me...snug but room to grow, and I've grown enough, 6' 3" 298lbs. -- so it fit and nows it's my 'red line,' that I can't gain any more weight that would prevent me from wearing this cool thing....Yup, start my new diet tomorrow, with this great vest motivation.

I'm a geocacher. This is excellent for that. It has pockets of all sizes to fit all sorts of stuff... big or little. It's great. If I ruined or lost this one, I'd get another. That said, the number of pockets is daunting. It can be hard to remember which pocket has what if you're not using the thing day in and day out. The mid-size pockets seem a bit too big. They seem to turn into black holes for the stuff that won't fit in the small pockets, but aren't really big items. I also think the zipper is horrible. Getting the thing back together after it comes apart is not fun. I leave it zipped and use it as a pullover. That might be one significant reason not to get it, but I haven't really found any other pocket filled vest that seemed better for geocaching.

Saw a colleague at work that had one of these vests and asked where she got it. Ordered one and found it was perfect for carrying all the stuff I needed to keep handy at work, plus it protected my clothing and the mesh was cooler in summer than fishing vests I had used previously which wore out quickly. Durable, cold wash and hang to dry. I retired and most of the zippers and pulls still worked, but the vest is now retired too! Lots of folks at work asked me where I got it and I was happy to tell them, Amazon.com.

Not a single pocket woul fit my glasses or Iphone6. Fit was good but had to buy matchingaterial and fabricate my own pockets.

Like all the storage pockets that it has, but the zippers are a little flakey. They are constantly getting hung up and require work to get them unstuck. I would give this vest a five if it had metal zippers in it.

It arrived on time and was okay except the front zipper was devective... The slider fammed at the bottom and forced me to exit from the garment over my head. I returned it after spending hours trying to find out from Amazon how to do same...

Second such vest I have ordered, used the first forever, I ripped a pocket off when it got caught on something, and I also got larger in size, so a replacement was needed. The first lasted forever and I expect this will too. There were no flaws with the first one, it was my fault the pocket got caught on something that partially yacked it off, and I removed the rest. These are awesome for photography vests, lots of mesh so even in hot weather they are good. Material is durable and easy to clean, just wipe off if you spill something.

All in all this vest meets my expectations. Many places for the items I need. The zippers work fine. Also a nice pocket in the back of the recon vest.
